This year we are covering Georgia history! I love that we are going to go in depth on our "peachy" state, but I also know that it can be a challenge for students to get all the information that is needed to complete the requirements.  Below are a few websites that I found helpful when gathering various facts on our state: Kid friendly site for Georgia history click on the state to access basic facts about Georgia Videos and interesting facts here! Fall Break

In between stuffing my face, I thought of you.... I really did. I sent a prayer up that your families would be enjoying a wonderful fall break with lots of family and friends around the table.  We headed to my sister-in-laws where 18 of us gathered to eat, laugh, build puzzles, watch football games and, of course, to eat. There were many treasured moments which I hope you had too. As we close out the last few days of this break, I am looking ahead to the next week and even the rest of the month.  Here are some highlights: We have a field trip this week (Thursday)- Alice in Wonderland will actually feature two of our own students in the show. What a treat!  We will be headed out around 8:25 a.m. and arriving back at the school for lunch. We will also have practice this week for the Elementary Christmas Program.
